  3. Fill out an Appeal Form in person at the town office between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 Monday - Friday, excluding holidays

Your appeal will be processed in a timely manner (usually within 10 days) after which you will receive a letter or email regarding the decision. Only those appeals filed correctly, and written within the time allowed will be reviewed. Postal delays or electronic equipment failures will not be considered a valid excuse.

If your Parking Ticket Appeal is:

Denied - You will be required to pay your fine withing 30 days of the denial

Reduced - You will be required to pay that reduced amount. If payments are not made within 30 days of the date of the disposition it may result in higher fines, court action and/or an application for warrant for arrest.

Suspended - You will not be required to pay a fine, with conditions. As long as the conditions are met for the suspension (ie suspended for 6 months with no further parking infractions means: if you do not have another parking violation in that 6 months you will not have to pay the fine. However, if you do receive a parking citation withing the time of the suspension, you will be required to pay that fine plus the previous fine.)

Granted - No payment is required and the matter is deemed closed.
