The Waterville Valley Department of Public Safety is a multi-disciplined department, tasked with all Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical functions within the Town of Waterville Valley. The Department of Public Safety is the first true Public Safety Department in the State of New Hampshire. All full-time personnel is required to be trained as state-certified police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians.

Protecting and improving the quality of life in Waterville Valley is achieved by 6 Full-time members, 5 Part-time members, 1 Administrative Assistant, Per Diem personnel, and Call people from the Department of Public Safety.
