Citizen's Public Safety Academy - Tuesdays,  Sept. 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, and Oct 15, 6-8pm at Town Hall lower level meeting room.

The Curious George character will be in Waterville Valley and at story times in Waterville Valley and the Plymouth area from Oct. 11-21.

PICK-UP & BUY SEASON PASSES this weekend during the Fall Foliage Fest in Town Square. Look for the logoed tent near the clock tower. Season Pass best savings deadline is October 15. You’ll be able to purchase passes at Town Square over Columbus Day weekend. Don’t forget – with the purchase of an Adult Plus Pass any kid skis free all season! 2019/20 lift tickets are now on sale online. The earlier you purchase, the cheaper the rates. Waterville.com

It's SKI SWAP & TENT SALE weekend in Town Square. Folks can drop-off items for the ski/snowboard swap at the tent on Friday, Oct. 11 from 3-6pm and on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 8-9am

There will be free outdoor concerts in Town Square on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 12-3pm and Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1-4pm.

Osceola Library Book Sale - Saturday, Oct. 12, 12-3pm at the library.

Waterville Valley Resort president/GM Tim Smith will host a guided tour of the completed Freestyle Lounge on Saturday, Oct. 12, starting at 3 p.m. Meet in the courtyard at the ski resort.

ICE ARENA The Arena will reopen around October 18 for the fall/winter season.  Questions?  Contact the arena at 236-4813.  You can find them online at wvicearena.com

Gazebo Sashay - Sunday, Oct. 20, starting at 12 noon at the Valley Road gazebo (then sashay to the tennis court gazebo, followed by the golf course gazebo, and then to the golf clubhouse). Volunteers are needed to bring a dish, beer or wine. Email Dorothy Dibona at skibones@rcn.com

Fall Foliage Festival, tent sales, ski/snowboard wap – Saturday-Monday, October 12-14

GUIDED HIKES:  On Saturday, Oct. 12, WVAIA will lead a guided hike of the Mad River Trail - meet by 9am at the gazebo in Town Square. Members and guests are welcomed. The Rec. Dept. is also offering several fall foliage hikes - some are FREE!

DISC GOLF TOURNEY:  A new addition to the calendar, a Fall Foliage Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10am-3pm. Great prizes including lift tickets, lodging, lessons and more. There's even a chance to win a season pass with a hole-in-one on Basket 10. Register at Town Square (in front of the Adventure Center).

MOUNTAIN UPDATE:  WVResort President/GM Tim Smith is hosting a mountain update with a tour of the new Freestyle Lounge, followed by a hike, on Saturday, Oct. 12. Meet at 3pm in the courtyard at the mountain.

Special Wednesday night Speaker Series event at the Curious George Cottage, October 16, 6-7 p.m. Through selected readings and audience interaction, Robin Salcido will talk about how and why stories enrich our lives. Admission is open to all (donations welcomed).
