Concealed Pistol permits are issued through the Police Department in the community where you reside. The cost of the permit is $10.00 and is valid for four years from the date of issue. In order for Waterville Valley residents to obtain a pistol permit, an applicant must provide his/her driver's license with Waterville Valley as the primary address, be at least 18 years of age, and have a criminal record check free of felony convictions. The Police Department will obtain a criminal record check on the individual, perform a background check through provided references, and note any felony, violent, or other crimes that may prevent the issuance of the permit. Domestic violence related crimes or restraining orders may prevent the issuance of a permit.
