Natural Resource Inventory Presentation 1/18/2020 @4pm

In the town budget that was approved at the town meeting in March 2019, there was a line item for the Conservation Committee to create a Natural Resource Inventory. The state requires that each town creates this document and maintains it. To that end, the Conservation Committee has contracted with Rick Van de Poll from Ecosystem Management Consultants to help create this Natural Resource Inventory document.

In the past months of 2019, you may have see Rick driving around town looking at the land to create this inventory. He also spoke with various private land owners to request access to their properties so he can catalog the Natural Resources.

The Natural Resource Inventory which Dr. Rick Van de Poll has created for the Conservation Commission will be presented to the Town on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at 4pm in the Multi-purpose Room of the Recreation Department located on Noon Peak Rd. Join Dr. Rick Van de Poll for a slide show review of the incredible natural resources of Waterville Valley as a part of the Natural Resource Inventory of town. Come find out why the Valley is such a special place to live, and ways in which the town and its residents can help ensure a great living environment in the future. Be prepared to learn a few things about the town you never knew!

Should you have any questions or concerns or require special accommodations to attend the presentation, please contact the Waterville Valley Town Offices at 603-236-4730, Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm.
