2019 Consumer Confidence Report
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
Each year by July 1st you should receive a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as an annual drinking water quality report from your water supplier. Your CCR tells you where your water comes from and what's in it. You can view the 2019 report for the Waterville Valley Water District HERE
NOTICE OF SECONDARY FLUORIDE MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVEL (MCL) VIOLATION
This is an alert about your drinking water and a cosmetic dental problem that might affect children under 9 years of age. At low levels, fluoride can help prevent cavities, but children drinking water containing more than 2.0 milligrams per liter (mg/L) of fluoride may develop cosmetic discoloration of their permanent teeth (dental fluorosis). The drinking water provided by your water sytem, Waterville Valley Water District has a fluoride concentration 2.1 mg/L. This is not an emergency, and if it had been all water customers would have been noticief immediately. The full report with more information is listed below. If you have any questions, please call our Water Department Operator, Rob Burhoe, at 603-236-4730.
