**Run for The Fallen Tomorrow Enhanced Pedestrian Traffic/Minor Road Delays Expected**
The 2021 Run for the Fallen NH is this Saturday, September 18, in Waterville Valley. The opening ceremony will take place in the Field of Honor in Town Square. The 4-mile loop run/walk route will honor New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes. The following roads will be affected: Village Road, Valley Road, Boulder Path Road, West Branch Road, Tripoli Road.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a race. All are welcome to walk, run, stroll, meander or just hang out along the loop honoring New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes (4 miles is NOT required). There is no charge to participate, although Run for the Fallen NH, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, appreciates donations.
Schedule:
- 8 AM: Registration opens in Town Square (register online at runforthefallennh.com)
- 9:30 AM: Opening ceremony in Town Square
- 9:45 AM: Gold Star Families and Hero Buddies depart to stand next to their Fallen Heroes along the run/walk route
- 10 AM: Run/walk begins
- 11:30 AM: Run ends; runners and walkers enjoy Waterville Valley or depart
- 12:00 PM: Lunch provided for Gold Star Family Members
While there will be an option for same-day registration, we are hoping to get everyone pre-registered online so that on Saturday runners and walkers will just have to check in, eliminating lines and wait times.
