Re:  Mail Delivery in the Town of Waterville Valley

The Waterville Valley Post Office welcomes all of our new residents to our community!  We are happy that you have decided to make the Valley your home.  As your Contracted Postal Unit (CPU) here in town, we are responsible for providing all of your mail service needs.  We want to make sure that we are using the most accurate information available so you can receive your mail in a timely manner. Since January 1st of this year, we have seen a 20%-25% increase in the number of full-time residents here in town with a corresponding increase in the number of post office box rentals.  We have not had an opportunity to get to know all of our new residents personally, yet, so including all of the information in your proper mailing address below is very important.

At this busy time of the year we are asking everyone for the next few weeks to observe their mail and packages closely to ensure that your contacts are using your correct address.  If you notice that someone has sent you a letter or package with an incorrect address, please notify them of the correct address as soon as possible.  To be accurately delivered, your address must follow this format:

                                NAME

                                Street Address, Box #____

                                Waterville Valley, NH  03215

All US Postal Service deliveries here in Waterville Valley must go through a post office box.  If your package has just a physical address on it, we cannot guarantee delivery and you run the risk of not having the mail delivered.  Also, other services such as Amazon deliveries of packages through UPS sometimes end up with the US Postal Service so it is critical to include the PO Box number on your delivery address.

Thank you in advance for your help in using your correct address.  Doing so will help us serve you better and make sure that you can enjoy your packages in time for the holidays.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the post office, ph. (603) 236-8414, or you can leave a message for us at the Town Office, ph. (603) 236-4730.  We hope you and your family enjoy a safe and happy holiday season!

Sincerely,

Ann Whitehouse, Manager
