PUBLIC NOTICE -Town of Waterville Valley RE: Town Hours of Operation Changes Due to COVID-19 Virus

Waterville Valley Town Office building IS OPEN for to the public for walk-in business during our regular hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday (non-holiday). We have signage posted on the door about entering the building. We are encouraging all customers to conduct all business online via the Town Website for Motor Vehicle renewals, property taxes and water/sewer payments. Please call or email the office if you have a special request for your Town Office business and we will do our best to accommodate you. Waterville Valley Post Office has returned to their regular hours as listed below. We respectfully request that people continue to reduce the number of weekly trips to the PO, adhere to the posted signage outside the PO concerning masks and the number of people in the lobby, and refrain from socializing in the PO lobby area.

  •  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:  OPEN 8am and CLOSE 3pm.
  • Wednesday: OPEN 8am and CLOSE 12noon.
  • Saturday: OPEN 8am and CLOSE 11am.
  • Sunday : CLOSED ALL DAY.

Waterville Valley Public Works buildings are closed to the public. Collection of trash will continue as normal. The Transfer Station dumpsters remain open to the public. The gated area for construction debris, appliances and like items will be open for ADJUSTED hours of operation of Monday-Wednesday-Friday 10:00am–3pm, and Tuesday,Thursday & weekends CLOSED. Please call the Town Office at 236-4730 during weekdays for assistance outside of these times. The assistance will be dependent upon on employee availabilty on each day.

Waterville Valley Public Safety Dept building will be closed to the public. If you have an emergency, please call 911 directly! For non-emergencies, please call dispatch at 603-236-4732. Administrative staff will be available Monday though Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Waterville Valley Recreation Dept buildings will be closed to the public until further notice. Summer camp will begin the week of July 6th, 2020 for 6 weeks. Boat rentals at Corcorans Pond are operating 3 days a week (Wed, Sat & Sun). Adjustments to the schedule may be necessary due to bad weather and/or availabilty of disinfected PFD's.

Waterville Valley Ice Arena will be closed until further notice.

Waterville Valley Osceola Library  2020 Summer Library Hours have been announced! Osceola Library will open on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020. It will be opened Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5 pm., through Thursday September 3rd, 2020. During this time, only property owners can borrow books. Covid rules will apply: only 1 person at a time over the age of 15 — for a 10 minute time limit. A mask must be worn and gloves will be provided. A sign-in is required for contact tracing. Markings out front will allow for 6’ spacing. Any questions call Sandy Larsen 236-6036.     Please realize this is an active State of Emergency and that Town personnel are closely monitoring updates from State and Federal agencies. All residents, guests and property owners are urged to follow CDC guidelines for preventing any spread of the virus both in-home and in our community.
